She enjoys conversation, travel, time at home, and the people around her. She knows her routine well and can explain how she likes things done.
Because the work includes intimate personal care, Lisa is seeking female caregivers.

I’m interested Meet Lisa & RobLisa is looking for dependable caregivers to help with transfers, dressing, medication preparation and Light household chores so she can remain active and independent at home.
Because Lisa uses a wheelchair, transfers are an important and physically demanding part of the job. Caregivers help Lisa transfer safely between her wheelchair, bed and other locations.
You don't need to arrive knowing how to do this. Lisa and Rob demonstrate the technique first, then provide plenty of hands-on supervision and coaching while you learn. We want both Lisa and you to feel safe and comfortable before you're expected to transfer her independently.

Lisa has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which affects her mobility and is why she uses a wheelchair. She has been hiring Seattle University nursing students as caregivers for eight years, and they have become an important part of our lives.
Normally, caregivers provide part-time help and give Rob a few hours of respite. Rob now needs surgery, so for roughly 3–4 months we’re building a larger team to help Lisa remain comfortable at home while he recovers.
We’re looking for kind, dependable caregivers who enjoy getting to know one person well and working in a relaxed home environment.
This is one-on-one caregiving in our home rather than caring for a large number of patients.
You don’t need to know Lisa’s routine before you start. We’ll show you how things are done.
Once you commit to a shift, Lisa needs to know she can count on you being there.
We’re creating a team so students can work around classes, clinicals, exams and other commitments.
Most shifts happen in our First Hill condo. It’s a home—not a clinical setting—and there is often downtime between the busier parts of Lisa’s routine.
